Changes to Card Destruction
Previously when a card's effect would destroy another card, the destroyed card persists on the board in a "destroyed" state and is only moved to the void to be "reset", in order to trigger afterlives after all other effects have concluded.
However, a destroyed card remaining on the board caused a number of issues such as cards having to partially delay their effects until the destroyed creature is removed ,which results in cards with destroy effects being implemented inconsistently (which I'm sure you're all aware of)!
Now with this change, when a card is destroyed it will immediately be moved to the void.
This will effect all cards which destroy a creature or relic on the board. It has no effect on how damage or combat would destroy cards - only cards that specifically contain the "destroy" keyword.
Cardboard live support
Gods Unchained cardboard integration is no longer supported.
Fixes
- Ward applied to God now blocks sleep
- Buff Weapons now reset in Void if replaced by another Weapon
- Bug Report button now active on Victory/Defeat screen
- Force close settings screen on conceding
- Frenzied VFX now clears correctly when taking control of a creature
- Confused VFX applied to a God moved to be more visible
