Welcome to the latest developer update, where we’ll be sharing the progress we’ve made in improving your experience with Gods Unchained. In this update, we’ll cover the launch of new Formats, enhancements to the Daily Play & Earn (DPE) system, the introduction of The Factory, and important updates to the Staking system.
1. Formats Are LIVE
We’re pleased to announce that the new Formats system is now live. Along with this release, we’ve launched Flashback: Divine Order, allowing players to earn 1.5x their usual DPE fragments while using older card sets. This mode has been well-received by the community.
We did encounter a minor issue at launch where some illegal cards were mistakenly allowed due to a configuration error. However, our engineering team quickly resolved the issue within 24 hours. This launch is a significant step forward as it enables our game designers to create and deploy new Formats without needing further engineering work. Expect to see more Formats in the future.
2. Daily Play & Earn (DPE) Updates
In parallel with the Formats release, we’ve made updates to the Daily Play & Earn (DPE) system. Like the new Formats system, the DPE configuration is now managed by our game designers. This change will allow for more flexibility in adjusting and rotating daily $GODS rewards, focusing on providing fairer rewards for our dedicated players and reducing bot farming.
3. The Factory is LIVE
Another significant update is the launch of The Factory, which serves as the foundation for many of the recent releases. We’ve introduced a new Sealed mode Buy-In interface as part of The Factory. This internal order system is designed to eventually handle all Gods Unchained asset and token transactions.
You can now check out The Factory by visiting Gods Unchained Orders to view your active, completed, and canceled orders. In the future, we plan to expand The Factory’s capabilities to include support for Crafting, Forge, and Staking systems.
4. Staking: A Critical Update
Finally, we want to address the Staking system. The Gods Unchained staking system has been a key part of the $GODS ecosystem, but we recognize that it has had its challenges. We’re currently working on improving the performance and accuracy of the staking system to ensure players receive their correct rewards and to make the process more user-friendly.
We’ll share more details about these improvements in the near future, so keep an eye out for updates.
